Friends of Age Concern Charity Shop, St Just

In 2022 the St Just branch of Age Concern kindly donated £500 to the Lafrowda Club. Unfortunately due to our busy schedules we hadn’t acknowledged it on social media. Their generous donation has helped us move forward with our renovation project and ultimately developing the St Just Archive which will hopefully provide a fascinating local history resource for the St Just community and those who come from or are interested in our wonderful town.

They, with particular help from the amazing Judith Gear, – who could sell coal to Newcastle – have helped the Club equip its kitchen and new bar and mostly of late help decorate the hall for Christmas.

NB. Despite much persuasion Judith didn’t want her photo taken so you’ll have to make do with and exterior shot of the shop.
