1940’s swing dance night to celebrate VE Day.
Put on your bib and tucker and dance the night away. There’ll be wartime treats and a fun raffle with vintage prizes like stockings, Spam and even a banana.

Traditional ballads and contemporary narratives inspired by Cornwall’s boat-dwelling community.

Sunday 11 May
Isaac Ockenden and Jinx Lennon
Scottish ballad singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Isaac Ockenden creates textured walls of drone tape samples, crackling guitar, flailing banjo and howling vocals. David “Jinx” Lennon is an Irish punk and urban poet with a rap-like vocal style.

Die Spangle
An unhinged sing-along punk band from Cornwall – “half serious, half stupid”

Saturday 12 July
Lifter and Joe Doyle
Lifter are an indie folk ensemble from Bristol. They weave improvisational elements alongside catchy song-based music, and owe their traditional-yet-modern sound to a whole lineage of Irish folk-metal legends.
Joe Doyle is heavily influenced by the Cornish coast. His powerful vocal delivery and soothing guitar style are rare delights.
